Pem & Selcuk’s Hotel Wedding in London

Arriving for what Pem thought was a leaving party for a work colleague, she entered the London Sky Bar. As the lift doors part, she found the usual bustling place totally empty. To her surprise, the regular groups of people were replaced by a trail of rose petals which led to a table with champagne. This is how Selcuk chose to propose. Ever the romantic he’d hired the whole bar out so alone they could enjoy what would become their first dance song “Always & Forever” by Luthor Vandross.

Wedding Preparations at The Grosvenor Hotel

Fast forward to their wedding day and Pem and her Bridesmaids are getting ready at The Grosvenor Hotel. Pem tells me she chose this London Hotel to get ready at because she loves the entrance and staircase. She knows she wants pictures there before heading to her London Hotel Wedding Venue The Radisson Blue Portman Hotel.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception at Radisson Blu Portman Hotel

Pem & Selucks wedding at Radisson Blu Portman Hotel was stunning. Its convenient location for their guests was a big plus for the couple with Pem being from South London and Selcuk North London. The ceremony and reception were filled with beautiful touches that made the day unique. From the bride walking down the aisle with her grandmother. Their traditional Turkish Drum Entrance ‘The Davul & Zurna’. A Traditional ‘Testi’ Pot dance, which saw the groom smash the pot in one go right through to Pem’s fine glitter studded converse trainers for the dance floor party.

Wedding Portraits in London

The highlight of the day for me, though, was our crazy Taxi ride chasing the sunset. Jumping in a cab, I pointed at the golden light and said, “I want to go that way”. Okay – it wasn’t quite a “follow that car moment”, but it felt as good as. Anyone who follows our work will know it’s not our usual style of couples portraits (as we don’t like couples to feel self-conscious), however, we got some awesome portraits in the middle of the road, because the light was simply stunning.

Here’s a selection of highlights from their day.
