Natalie & Sam’s Sunset Pre-Wedding Shoot
Living in the UK, you have to get used to how erratic the weather can be. It’s kinda our thing. Maybe even our USP? Probably not, but one thing I must say is that when the weather is good in the UK, it really is good. When Natalie and Sam contacted me from their home in San Francisco late last year to inform me that they’d be heading over to the UK to celebrate their wedding day at Ramster Hall in Guildford, I couldn’t wait to meet them!
As Natalie has travelled over to the city of London a few times in the past, it was an easy decision when they were deciding on which location we should choose for our pre-wedding shoot. With a bit of a soft spot for the hustle and bustle of Borough Market and the urban architecture, we headed out for our pre-wedding shoot the weekend before their wedding day. Now at the time, it was an excellent idea for me to suggest that we should meet around 6pm to aim for a Golden Hour shoot in the city and actually (and quite luckily) it worked out brilliantly in the end concerning that beautiful light making itself apparent during our shoot. But in retrospect, what a risky suggestion! Looking out of the window today, while I write this blog post, it’s an average, grey and murky day in London. But I put our luck down to the fact that these guys are anything but average! So the sunset was out in all it’s beauty, especially for them! BUT, even on an ordinary, murky afternoon in London, these guys would have looked great! 🙂
